The Able B2 Basic Blood Pressure Monitor is clinically validated for accuracy for a range of special patients, including diabetes, pregnancy, obesity, elderly and teenagers. Includes Power Adapter and 4 x AA batteries.

The Able B1 Plus Blood Pressure Monitor has similar features, but without a Power Adapter.

What is clinical validation for a blood pressure monitor?

Clinical validation verifies the measurement accuracy of the monitor through tests performed on selected people who meet certain criteria (eg: blood pressure classification, age, sex, pre-existing diseases, etc).

The ABLE B1 Plus Blood Pressure Monitor has passed several of these challenging validations with British Hypertension Society protocol, so it can be recommended for anyone, including all of the following special patient groups:

What is PAD?

Pulse Arrhythmia Detection (PAD) technology analyses pulse rate for irregular heart beats during blood pressure measurements. If an irregular heart beat occurs, the PAD symbol is displayed.
