Simparica Chews For Puppies 1.3 - 2.5kg 3 Pack
Overview
Simparica Yellow for puppies and very small dogs weighing between 1.3kg and 2.5kg is a tasty flavoured chew for the treatment and control of fleas, ticks, ear mites, demodex mites and sarcoptic mange for a full month.
For the treatment and prevention of flea infestations:
- Rapidly kills fleas within four to eight hours of treatment
- Breaks the flea life cycle by killing adult fleas before they can lay eggs - eliminating the risk of further environmental infestation
- Can be used as part of a treatment strategy for the control of Flea Allergy Dermatitis (FAD)
- Persistent flea killing activity and protection for a full month
Treats and controls paralysis ticks, brown dog ticks and bush ticks. For the treatment and control of fleas and ticks:
- The product should be administered at regular monthly intervals;
- If a flea infestation already exists, fleas can continue to emerge into the environment for weeks to months it may take more than a single treatment to achieve acceptable flea control;
- Treatment should continue without interruption all year round, breaks in protection can allow for an environmental flea burden to re-establish;
- Persistent tick killing activity and protection for a full month
- In tick season, daily searching for, and removal of, any ticks found is recommended
For the treatment and control of ear mites, demodex mites, and sarcoptic mange:
- Simparica should be administered for at least two consecutive months to treat ear mites and sarcoptic mange;
- Cleansing of the affected ears is recommended to remove the debris associated with ear mites;
- For the treatment of demodex mites, Simparica should be administered monthly until the absence of mites is confirmed by two consecutive monthly skin scrapings done by your veterinarian.

Safe in various breeds of dog across a broad weight range, when administered according to the dosage schedule;
Safe for use in puppies from weeks of age and weighing over 1.3kg;
During testing, no adverse reactions were observed when Simparica was used with other treatments - may be administered in conjunction with vaccines, gastrointestinal worming treatments, heartworm preventatives, antibiotics, and corticosteroids when used according to label directions;
Well tolerated in ivermectin-sensitive dogs;
The safe use of Simparica has not been evaluated in breeding dogs and pregnant or lactating bitches.
