Springbank Campbeltown Loch 2023 Release Blended Malt Scotch Whisky 700ml

2023 Release.

At Springbank we are not just known for our Single Malts, we also have Blended Malts like our award-winning Campbeltown Loch.

All five malts (Springbank, Longrow, Hazelburn, Kilkerran and Glen Scotia) from the region s three distilleries have been used to produce this Blended Malt. Matured in a combination of Ex-Bourbon and Ex-Sherry casks, vatted and bottled at Springbank Distillery, Campbeltown.

Tasting Notes:

Nose: A distinct buttery note and characteristic hint of sea salt introduce this dram, along with notes of ginger loaf and pecan pie.

Palate: Creamy coffee, salted caramel, date syrup and crystallised brown sugar on the palate, with a subtle hint of peat smoke.

Finish: The peat smoke builds in the finish, with a leathery note developing over time.

Having said that, the Campbeltown Loch Blended Malt has an undeniable Campbeltown DNA. Or I should say, J&A Mitchell DNA.
