Down a winding trail and along a meandering creek in the Redwood National Park rises the massive trunk of Emerald Giant. Yawning high above at over 360 feet, this August Sequoia is the fastest growing Redwood in the world, gaining over 50 cubic feet and more than 1500 pounds of mass each year.

Tasting Notes:

Colour: Burnt Orange.

Nose: Delicate herbal tea, soft cinnamon, dried orange peel.

Palate: Earl Grey tea, viscous, dark chocolate coffee beans, warm spice finish.

Sweeter notes, like Andes chocolates, vanilla frosting, and yellow cake soon join the mix, creating a lovely balance between honeyed and herb-driven notes. The palate takes that sweetness and spice even further there s delicious heat on the tip of the tongue, giving way to raspberry-filled chocolate squares, black forest cake, and ripe red fruit.
