I.W. Harper Gold Medal Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey 700ml

Traditionally IW Harper was an export only bourbon and then only exported to Japan.

I.W. Harper Bourbon has won many awards at spirit competitions around the world. With five gold medals awarded to I.W. Harper, it became known as the Gold Medal bourbon.

I.W. Harper was launched in 1879 by the Bernheim Brothers, Issac and Bernard. Issac s first two initials were I. W. , but he hesitated about using his own real last name and alternatively went with Harper instead. The brothers had two distilleries in Louisville, the first one in Shively, the second in west Louisville where Heaven Hill s Bernheim Production Facility is today.
