Made entirely with non-peated malt, this bottle retains the coal direct-fire punch of Yoichi malt, but highlights the fruitiness and smooth sweet depth that is ordinarily hiding behind the peat. It features sweet and sour notes of pear, berries, and apple, as well as a firm maltiness. The finish is fruity and has elements of caramel that continue.

This expression explores the possibilities of releasing a non-peated whisky from the distillery, historically known for its peated whiskies. It is non chill-filtered and bottled at 47% ABV, with 20,000 bottles available.

"Fairly aromatic nose with a wide range of notes such as fresh orange peel and orange blossoms, toasted barley, yeasty bread, and gentle oak. On the palate the whisky is medium full, but spicy on the gums with white pepper. The finish is mildly bitter and tangy, but also has a sweet note of white peaches and white chocolate.
