The legends at Cape Byron Distillery, with a can't-miss record of gins and liqueurs under the Brookie's range, finally feel the time is right to let loose their uniquely Byron single malt whisky. Created with the guidance of the unstoppable Islay legend Jim McEwan (Bowmore, Bruichladdich), this one's the lighter more conventional release and the Chardonnay cask the experimental offering - are you a classicist, an innovator, or both?

Cape Byron ‘The Original’ Australian Single Malt Whisky, the signature expression, aged in American oak ex-bourbon casks.
The colour of a Byron Bay sunset. The palate offers soft vanilla, creme brulee and biscotti characters, layered over distinct notes of pear, coconut and buttery macadamia.

Co-created by one of Scotland’s most awarded Master Distillers, Jim McEwan and Cape Byron Distillery Co-founder and distiller Eddie Brook, this Australian adaptation of a classic Scottish whisky is truly remarkable and unique to the terroir of the Byron Bay region.
