Overview
Reach further. Get more done faster.
If knowing the distance is critical to what you do - whether that's construction, landscaping or surveying - the LASER 50 gets the job done easily and quickly. It measures a distance of up to 1,820m in a flash (approx. 0.3 seconds), without you having to take one step.
With the Nikon LASER 50, quick and accurate measurements are made possible from the palm of your hand.
Enhanced Measurement Capability
Choose from four measurement display modes depending on the situation. Get the distance - actual (linear) or horizontal - as well as the angle or height of an object right from where you stand.
Through its powerful yet eye-safe Class 1M laser, even unreachable targets can be measured from a safe distance. It is ideal for measuring clearances or heights of various objects like an antenna, electric poles and wires, trees, etc.
With the built-in HYPER READ function, the measurement results are displayed in approx. 0.3 seconds, regardless of the distance from the target.
Clear Viewfield with OLED Display
The high-quality 6x optical viewfinder, with multilayer coating for extra clarity, allows you to take a precise aim on the target. The large ocular is easy to view through, and its generous eye relief provides comfort even while wearing glasses.
Red OLED reading and target mark with automatic brightness adjustment provides optimum contrast according to the surrounding ambient light level.
Robust Yet Compact Body
With outdoor use in mind, the LASER 50 withstands unexpected weather conditions in the field. Its solid, magnesium-alloy die-cast frame, with a waterproof and fog proof structure, provides protection against water splashes and dust, as well as thermal shock and internal fogging.
All the advanced technology is packed in a compact body that fits in the palm of your hand, while only weighing similar to a typical smartphone (180g excluding battery).
Nikon Corporation
One of the world's largest and most respected photographic companies turned 100 this 2017. Nikon was one of the innovators of the DSLR camera and was the first company to enable video recording on a DSLR camera, in fact NASA called on Nikon to provide the photographic equipment on the Space Shuttle. No longer in the shadow of its competitors, Nikon now stands up as a world leader if not the world leader in digital photography and we believe that Nikon always represents great value and even better technology.
