Medium colour density with a bright purple hue. The aromatic profile is deeper and darker than the classic Tyrrell's red summer fruits. The palate is medium bodied with the classic Hunter Valley fruit and acid profile, giving the wine a wonderful freshness.

These three blocks produce a modern style of Shiraz that has both richness and approachability and pays homage to the classic Hunter River Burgundies (HRB) of the mid-twentieth century.
