WINEMAKER S NOTE

A cool and windy spring provided a challeging flowering period resulting in lower yields. Despite these challenges, a cool growing season complimented by a warm and dry Februar and March, created ideal ripening conditions. The wines from our Lenswood vineyard are of exceptional quality, showing good flavour, high natural acidity and great balance.

Appearance: Brilliant clarity, pale straw with green hues

Aroma: Highly perfumed, with white florals, lemongrass, green apples and citrus vying for attention.

Palate: Bright and fresh like a fresh granny smith apple from the fridge. Lemon and lime juice in the mix as well. Palate weight and texture is balanced nicely with fruit sweetness and acidity kept in check by a mineral / talc-like line running all the way through to the finish.
