This wine is characterised by its bright red and purple colour.

With hints of blackberry, cherry and vanilla bean and a palate of dark chocolate and spiced fruit, this wine is both rich and fruity.

The Hunter Valley can produce standout Cabernet with power, structure and balance when grown on the right vineyard. We have been making this wine for decades from vines planted in the late 1960 s and it has a loyal following.

These Cabernet grapes are from a small block of our old vines grown in the volcanic soil of the ancient Fordwich Sill. The fruit is concentrated giving a wine with excellent regional and varietal definition.

Pair with grilled steak, lamb and chicken.
