A youthful deep red with some faint purple tones that defies its age, aromatics show plum and black cherry that has integrated seamlessly with new oak with a milk chocolate aspect and olive.

The palate is medium bodied with good purity of fruit, black cherry has a savoury side that is lifted by the gentle influence of French oak. Tannins are fine, with acidity giving structure and drive to the wine as it edged closer to its 10th birthday in style. An imminently enjoyable and drinkable Clare Valley Shiraz.

Pairs well with hearty dishes like grilled meats, stews or aged cheeses.
