Appearance: Rich dark purple with deep inky shades. Lifted notes of cassis, cedary oak, cigar box, and earthen spices seamlessly combine on the nose. A fresh, fruity, and unmistakably Aussie Cab, this opens with aromas of ripe strawberry and red currant, vanilla pod, clove, dried herbs, and warm tar. The palate is initially quite austere but after swirling in the glass, flavour depth and textural richness emerge, showing fleshy berry fruit, crisp acidity, and leathery tannins.
