Soft, supple and generously proportioned Barossa Shiraz made in a sympathetic manner to achieve a wine for immediate drinking but with a little further time in the cellar an option. It s distinctly fruit dominant with the oak sitting faintly in the background with lovely vibrant cherry and plummy flavours.

I m thinking pasta with a red sauce here, or perhaps a lightly topped pizza.
