Vivid ruby-red. Primary red and dark berry scents on the perfumed nose, along with cola and pungent floral notes. Sappy, mineral-laced raspberry and cherry liqueur flavors stretch out and become sweeter with air. Rich but lively as well; finishes long and juicy, with repeating red berry character and harmonious tannins that lend subtle grip.

This wine is best served with all types of classic meat dishes, veal, pork, beef, lamb, duck, game, roast chicken, roasted, braised, stewed, and grilled dishes, sausage, cassoulet, eggplant, and tomatoes. Also good with Asian dishes, hearty fish courses like tuna, mushrooms, pasta, and cheese.
