Dense inky black in colour with a very deep bright dark purple hue.

Elevated scents of dark plum and liquorice stream out of the glass followed by vanillin cedar, earthy fennel and spicy pepper notes. Rich, lush blackberry, liquorice and dark plum fruits engulf the mouth with youthful acidity lending freshness. Excellent concentration with spicy vanillin cedar, earthy fennel and black pepper characters lingering on the finish.

Velvet tannins have a sturdy underbelly. Concludes long, spicy and succulent.

Pairs well with beef, lamb, game and poultry.

Drink over the next 5-6 years.
