Okayama Mizunara 60% Single Cask Whisky 2023 Limited Edition 700ml

Made with 100% malted barley from Okayama Prefecture and using a proprietary yeast blend of whiskey yeast, beer yeast, and sake yeast. Aged for 3 years and 5 months this single Hogshead cask which yielded just 115 bottles. Mizunara or Japanese Oak is highly sought after for whisky finishing and imparts a spicy aroma reminiscent of incense trees such as sandalwood and Jara, and the flavours are sought out by whisky aficionados worldwide. Only 115 bottles were created from a single cask and each bottle is individually numbered. Only 12 bottles have been allocated for Australia.
