Description and specs
Distilled in 1995, this very special limited Edition Macallan is comprised of whiskies aged in first-fill sherry casks (made at the same cooperage, Tevasa, Spain) and so described as a 'single cooperage whisky', designed to ensure the maximum quality oak. Bottled in 2015, it exemplifies the house style. Indeed, the name itself refers to the six pillars of Macallan: "The Spiritual Home, The Curiously Small Stills, The Finest Cut, The Exceptional Oak Casks, The Natural Colour, The Peerless Spirit." This venerable gem is showcased in a six-faceted Lalique decanter. Luxurious both inside and out, expect a stunning Speyside experience with profound notes of fruit cake and orange to the fore.
